Luke is the most wonderful human being I have ever met. He makes my life better in so many ways. He listens to me, he makes me laugh, he cheers me up, he supports me, he makes me think, he makes me excited about the future and kids, he makes me truly completely happy.
This is his time to be completely selfish, take all the support and help he can get, and not worry about anyone but himself.
But that’s not who he is.
While he is suffering through chemo, taking numerous medications, dealing with side effects, going through a whole range of emotions, and feeling weak, he is worried about me.
He is worried about me?
I will never understand what I did right to deserve him. I’ve never loved anything the way I love him and I will do everything in my power to help him through this.
I feel lucky to love him and even luckier to be loved by him.
You are my person Luke, I love you.

Hope you are doing well Luke. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I still cant figure out why a guy studying Oceanography is in the Prairies. I suspect you will combine the two and start a fish farm!! Don’t plant the fish seeds too deep!! Best of luck – hang in there Bud.
