Sorry I have been quiet on here. It’s been a crazy whirlwind week. After skillfully packing for my trip I finally arrived in Winnipeg on Thursday!!

Seeing Luke lifted so much weight off of my shoulders. It’s still overwhelming learning everything, but we are taking it one day at a time.

Currently, we are waiting on the results of his bone marrow test to see if he is in remission. I am staying positive that he will be as are the doctors. On Monday he has more chemo and begins radiation. This is a two week intensive phase and will be hard on him. I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated throughout this process.

Since arriving here, Luke has been doing really well. He has had a great appetite, is putting on weight, smiles and laughs, listens to his body, and rests when he needs it. I even got him walking more today. He is absolutely incredible. It’s so nice to be together to fight this battle.

I love my strong handsome man.
