I can’t believe that Luke and I have been married for a year! I love this man with my whole heart and will continue to love him for the rest of my life.
We aren’t celebrating the way we had planned. After Luke went to the hospital and we found out about the spinal fractures we knew we had to cancel/ postpone the vow renewal. We are so thankful for everyone being so understanding and supportive. Right now our focus is doing everything we can to beat the cancer and get Luke healthy again. We will have our day someday.
Today we should have been standing on a beach in Maine in front of our family and friends. We should have exchanged our vows, eaten delicious food, and danced the night away. I thought we would be celebrating our love and the fact that Luke was cancer free.
Instead I worked eight hours and when I got home we ordered Indian food and now we are watching Harry Potter in bed. While this isn’t how we expected to spend our first anniversary, I’m so thankful to have spent the last year married to the most wonderful, thoughtful, and downright amazing man.
Happy Anniversary Baby! I love you so much ❤️❤️
P.s. I promise to post an update soon. We have been so busy and I’ve had writers block lately. Every time I try to write I can’t seem to find the words.
