Fatigue

I haven’t written a new blog post lately because it’s been a rough week. I’ve been so worn out and I didn’t even know it was possible to feel this kind of fatigue.

On top of this fatigue I have been dealing with a lot of bloating and discomfort making eating and staying hydrated rather difficult. Just makes me want to nap all day. My body is physically weaker than it has ever been. I’ve lost a lot of muscle so walking is more difficult and it’s hard to keep my energy up. I try to walk a little bit each day to keep moving though.

Luckily my counts are recovering well and I’ll get a repeat bone marrow test tomorrow to determine whether or not the chemo I have been getting has put me into a remissive state. I don’t know how long it’ll take to get the results of biopsy so please be patient while I wait for the results.

If everything continues to go smoothly and I am well enough they hope to send me home this upcoming week! While I’m excited about the idea of going home I know that I still have a long road ahead of me as does Luke.

Luke has been recovering at home and while he has help from so many I know it is hard being on his own. At least when I am home we can support each other mentally even if we are both physically weakened.

Luke will stop by for another visit on Tuesday so I am looking forward to seeing him again. Until then enjoy these repeat pics from our last visit.
