My husband and I are completely humbled by the amount of support and love we have been receiving since this whole thing began with Luke’s diagnosis in 2018 and now my same diagnosis two years later.
Our friends and families have started to fundraiser to help us out during this challenging time while we are both on medical leave and focusing on our health and each other.
One of Luke’s lab mates and friends has started a paper crane fundraiser where a donation gets a personalized paper crane made. The symbolism of the paper crane is quite a beautiful story and this act of kindness and dedication is so meaningful.
Luke’s family has also started a fundraiser to help ease the financial burden and to raise awareness for how unique and bizarre our situation is. Husband and wife both diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia two years apart. We are so humbled by the amount of support we are already seeing.
