Ingredients
- 2 Jars of pasta sauce of your choosing (We like the Classico or the Newmans Own)
- 1 pound of ground beef or turkey
- 1 pound of ground pork or sausage
- 1 can of beans of your choosing (We prefer chic peas)
- About 500 grams of frozen vegetables (We use a medley)
- Spices to your taste
- Curry powder
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder (or real onions)
- Oregano
- Basil
- Bay leaves
- Cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the two jars of sauce on low-medium heat
- Add frozen vegetables to the sauce and stir into the sauce
- In a saute pan, brown the ground beef and pork with any desired spices (draining the grease)
- Add to sauce once cooked
- Rinse can of beans and add to sauce
- Add spices to taste
- Bring to a boil and then set on simmer for about an hour stirring occasionally
- Serve with pasta of your choice
