Finally!

Luke officially has a donor!!!

We got the news last week that a willing donor is a 10/10 match for Luke. This is such good news and helps us to feel a bit of hope again. Likely he will be getting his second stem cell transplant at the end of January.

Long Distance PTSD

I’m not going to lie, I have a little bit of PTSD from having been in a long distance relationship for so long. When I flew home for a week in December I started to tear up in the airport because I already missed Luke so much. Not just in the normal sense of missing another person, but I had this empty pit in my stomach that made me feel ill and like I was breaking into a million pieces.
